February 2024: Dr. Bhupendra Acharya from CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, gave a talk on "Cloak and Scam: Creating Honeypots to Measure Present Day Internet Defense Mechanisms Against Social Engineering Attacks" at UNM as part of NSF SFS security lecture series.
November 2023: Gave a talk at Computer Science colloquium at The University of New Mexico.
September 2023: Gave an invited talk on Improving the Security Response of Emerging Systems as part of Computer Science colloquium at University of Idaho and New Mexico Institute of Technology.
August 2023: Attended USENIX Security in Anaheim, CA.
May 2023: I will be at the Department of Computer Science at The University of New Mexico starting Fall 2023.

August 2022: I am now joining Florida A&M University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences.
June 2022: Paper on "Systematically Evaluating the Robustness of ML-based IoT Malware Detection Systems" accepted at The 25th International Symposium on Research in Attacks, Intrusions and Defenses (RAID 2022).
October 2021: Paper on inconsistencies in the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) accepted at IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (IEEE TDSC).
August 2021: I am joining Network and Distributed Systems Security (NDS2) group at Northeastern University in Boston as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
July 2021: Defended my PhD dissertation, titled "Understanding the Security of Emerging Systems: Analysis, Vulnerability Management, and Case Studies".
July 2020: Serving in the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS 2020) virtual task force.
July 2020: Paper on static analysis of IoT malware has been accepted for publication at International Conference on Information and Communications Security (ICICS 2020). Was scheduled to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, but it now being held online.
May 2020: I was supposed to join HP security lab as an intern, but, it is postponed due to the pandemic emergency. I look forward to working with the great team at HP in future!
Feb 2020: I will be joining HP security lab in the Summer of 2020. At HP, I will be working in their Malware lab.
December 2019: Volunteered at International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies (CoNEXT 2019) at University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
August 2019: Attending USENIX Security Symposium in Santa Clara, CA.
May 2019: I will be joining University of Southern California - Information Sciences Institute (USC-ISI) as an intern for the Summer 2019. At ISI, I will be working on automating vulnerability discovery. I will be advised by Christophe Hauser and Jelena Mirkovic.
October 2018: Our lab hosted 60 middle school students for a security awareness day via STEM Day.Â
June 2018: Our lab hosted 80 high school students for a security summer camp via Camp Connect.
